FUZHOU: Four cafe workers in eastern China's Fujian province were killed when their dormitory caught fire Thursday morning, the local government said.
At around 4:32 am, a dormitory for U.B.C. cafe workers in Zhongshan neighborhood, Liancheng county, caught fire, leaving four sleeping female workers dead.
U.B.C. cafe is a Taiwan-funded enterprise.
Three of the victims were from Liancheng and one was from Quanzhou city, Fujian.
The cause of the accident is being investigated.
