Excessive clicks block recruitment website

A website to recruit civil servants in Beijing has collapsed due to the number of excessive hits, the Beijing Times reported today.
A citizen surnamed Liu said he tried to log on the website at 2 pm yesterday but could not access the page.
The deadline for enrollment was supposed to end on Thursday, but the municipal administration has extended it to Friday 11 am due to the incident.
Governmental civil servants are hot jobs in China, reports said.
