72 detained in deadly fight

One died and 72 people were detained, including eight suspected of being the principal instigators, in a group fight during the expropriation of farmland, the Legal Daily reported today.
More than 100 villagers in Pizhou city of Jiangsu province reportedly fought with a group of people who came to their village to demand the land.
Villager Li Dongdong died of severe injuries after the fight, the report said.
