Freshman commits suicide after caught cheating

A student has jumped to her death from a sixth-floor dorm after being caught cheating last week in an examination, dahe.cn reported.
The girl was in her first year at Life Science and Technology School of Nanyang Normal University in Nanyang, Henan province.
The college has paid 100,000 yuan ($14,674) to the student's parents out of humanitarian concern. No more details have been reported so far.
