Expo volunteers take oaths

More than 7,000 Expo volunteers attended a gathering to take oaths pledging a successful global event in Shanghai on April 1.

Yu Zhengsheng, Shanghai Party secretary, Yin Yicui, deputy Party secretary and vice mayor Yang Xiong awarded flags to volunteer representatives in the 30-day Expo countdown gathering.

Expo organizers are grateful for the endeavors of volunteers, constructors and all parties participating the Expo, Yu said.
