Covering an area of 300,000 sq m with 4 km in length, Dalian's animation belt has formed an industry chain focusing on the design and production of comics, advertisements and on-line games. Dalian hi-tech park bids to be China's 'Silicon Valley'

Established in 1998 with an area of 3 sq km, the Dalian Software Park has now become the outsourcing center of Northeast Asia, attracting some 30 World Top 500 enterprises. The park is home to 400 companies, more than 40% of them backed by foreign investments. The area now has over 30,000 employees. It has developed into a BPO industrialized base. [China Daily]
