Man throwing change on street causes chaos

A resident of Nanchang, Jiangxi province, caused chaos on the city's streets when he started throwing coins everywhere, screaming, "Throw away all your money to escape disaster," last Monday.
The man, surnamed Zhou, who said he was a millionaire, started throwing innumerable 0.1-yuan coins on the street at 1.30 pm, virtually causing a stampede, as pedestrians pushed and pulled to get hold of the petty change.
Zhou did not say why he was throwing away the change.
