HONG KONG: About 3,300 students in Hong Kong Thursday broke a Guinness World Record by making a giant finger painting featuring anti-drug messages at the Victoria Park of the city.

Two hundred police volunteers led the students to produce the giant painting, measuring more than 2,100 square meters and carrying the anti-drug slogan "Not Now, Not Ever, Say No to Drugs. "

The Guinness World Record adjudicator announced the breaking of the record upon completion of the painting. A certificate was presented to the students.

Donald Tsang, chief executive of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, then led the students to make a pledge together, symbolizing their commitment and determination in fighting drug abuse.

The painting will be replicated in banners and displayed at immigration checkpoints, public amenities, non-governmental organizations and schools.
