Honeywell joins Wuhan Mayor’s Int'l Advisory Council

Honeywell, a diversified technology and manufacturing leader, has been invited to be an international advisor to the Municipal Government of Wuhan, according to the Foreign Affairs Office of the People's Government of Wuhan Municipality.

Shane Tedjarati, President and CEO of Honeywell China and India, will participate in the 6th meeting of the Wuhan Mayor's International Advisory Council (WMIAC), to build on its aggressive industrialization and urbanization program.

Nineteen other advisors will also attend the 6th WMIAC meeting, with the theme "Resource-Saving and Environment-Friendly – A New Development Path for Wuhan's Industrialization and Urbanization" from Nov 18 to 20 in Wuhan to discuss the city's future development, the Foreign Affairs Office of the People's Government of Wuhan Municipality said.

"Honeywell is honored to be member of the Wuhan Mayor's International Advisory Council," said Tedjarati. He also disclosed that Honeywell will increase investment in Wuhan, including power exploitation, energy-saving technology and so on.

"We think highly of China, especially Wuhan, which is a good option for the world's turbocharger production base," Tedjarati added.
