Superstitious husband leaves unfortunate wife

A Shanghai resident's younger husband left her after a fortune-teller told him he would die like her former partner.

Wang, in her early 40s, is from Wuhu in Anhui province. She owned a shop making aluminum together with her husband, who is from Anyi in Jiangxi province.

Wang's ex-husband died and she married her second partner four years ago. But he left for his hometown without saying goodbye to her on Nov 2.

When Wang managed to contact her 38-year-old husband on his cell phone, he said a fortune-teller told him he would die like Wang's former husband if they continued staying together.

Wang is reportedly heading to Jiangxi to persuade him not to believe what the fortune-teller said.
