China has reported two deaths among H1N1 vaccine recipients on the mainland, said the Ministry of Health yesterday.

Preliminary findings indicated that deaths of the two adults after receiving the shots were not linked to the vaccine, thus would not affect the ongoing H1N1 vaccination program nationwide, said the ministry’s spokesman Deng Haihua.

As of November 12, China has vaccinated more than 12 million people on the mainland against the raging A/H1N1 flu.
