Strange SMS gives mobile phone a mind of its own

A man in Changsha, capital of Hunan province, received an unidentified text message on his mobile phone, following which his phone automatically started dialing random numbers on its own.

Experts from the phone company's maintenance center told Zheng his phone had contracted a strange virus, which had destroyed the memory of his phone.

Experts warned mobile phone users to not open any unidentified SMS till they conclude their investigations.
