Although the number of funds decreased 20 percent compared with last year, the scale of fund raising scale increased 20.27 percent year-on-year, and increased 211.6 percent month-on-month.

This indicates a growth spurt. Support from Chinese government and the launch of the Growth Enterprise Board also encouraged the growth of local LPs.

To encourage communication and collaboration between Chinese and foreign LPs, the 2009 China International Limited Partners Investors Summit, has been organized by Jinrong Street Private Equity, Deloitte and 21st Century Business Herald. It will be held on Nov 7.
