To mummy with love: Nose job, facelift, or botox?

A number of Shanghai youths gifted their parents cosmetic surgeries on the Chongyang Festival, a day to celebrate the elderly, which fell last Monday.

A resident surnamed Qu visited a local cosmetic surgery clinic for a facelift. Qu's son and daughter-in-law, who offered to pay for the surgery, accompanied her to the clinic.

According to the hospital, a number of youngsters were now offering to pay for their parents' treatments. "Quite a few of those came in on the Chongyang Festival," a surgeon said.
