Worker who lied about wealth killed

A migrant worker drinking alone at a restaurant in Dalian, Liaoning province, started lying to a couple of strangers sitting near his table about how rich he really was. The strangers later killed him.

While he was boasting about his wealth, the two strangers, who eventually joined him on his table, thought they could extract some money of him.

They took the drunk to a remote place and strangled him to death, only to realize he had just 40 yuan in his pocket.

One of the suspects has been arrested. Police are hunting for the other.
