'Most impressive beggar' to publish 2nd book

A beggar named Xia Haibo (R) sells his book "Diary of a Beggar" in Jiefang Street, Wuhan, Central China's Hubei province, October 15, 2009.

Xia, 27, who was once labeled the "most impressive beggar", often used English and Chinese to ask for money. He published "Diary of a Beggar" last year.

The man was a good student in high school and became disabled after he developed atrophic arthritis.

Xia said he is writing a second book, "Love in the World", which will be finished soon. He wants to invite the "running teacher" Fan Meizhong to write a forward for his new book.

Fan, a Chinese language teacher at a private high school in Dujiangyan city, got the nickname after he left behind all his students and escaped the classroom first during last year's May 12 Sichuan earthquake.

Xia decided to go to Shanghai and make contact with Fan, who now lives there, before Christmas. Xia said he wants his book sold in Shanghai too.
