School expels 'naughty' 13-year-old student

A woman in Wenchang, Hainan province, is running from pillar to post demanding justice after her 13-year-old son was expelled from his school because he was too naughty.

The woman surnamed Chen said it was wrong on part of the Jinshan High School to expel her son because "school is where 13-year-olds are supposed to be educated. They can't wash their hands off my son just because they think he's too naughty".

Chen said her son had not gone to school for almost four months since he was expelled, which might seriously damage his future.

The local education department has launched an investigation.
