Man sleeps for a month hoping to cure disease
(China Daily)
Updated: 2009-10-16 09:38 A senior executive at a foreign-investment firm asked for a month's leave from work so that he could sleep after a friend told him sleep could cure his alopecia. Liu Chang, 32, was granted leave for a month in September, the whole of which he spent in his bed. His illness, however, was not cured. Liu then consulted doctors, who told him sleeping long hours could not cure alopecia but instead can result in muscle pain and spine defects. (Chongqing Evening News) |
