Residents of a building in Wuhan, capital of Hubei province, are up in arms against a hotel, situated in the same 30-story tower, which has its room numbers all mixed up.
The hotel is situated on the fourth and fifth floors of the building. Since four is considered an unlucky number, the hotel decided to start its room numbers with the digits six and eight.
Residents of the sixth and eighth floors of the building complain the room numbers on the fourth floor are the same as theirs.
"Sometimes, we even have prostitutes knocking on our door in the middle of the night," said a woman surnamed Ye, who lives on the sixth floor.
