Man held for tampering with phone connections

A man in Zhenjiang, Jiangsu province, was arrested for making 1,000 yuan worth of phone calls that were billed to his neighbor.

Li had attached his own telephone wire to his neighbor's, which meant that whenever he made a call it would connect via his neighbor's phone.

After being arrested, Li said he regretted his actions and promised to foot his 1,000-yuan phone bill.
