SHENZHEN:  A factory fire killed five in Shenzhen of south China's Guangdong Province, local police said Saturday.

Police were quoted as saying that the fire started from the workshop on the 4th floor in a factory building of Regina Miracle International Limited, a local underwear manufacturer, at about 2:25 pm Saturday.

Firefighters used about 30 minutes to put out the fire.

Police found one dead at the scene. Four injured were rushed to the hospital but died from serious injuries.

Further investigation is underway.
