Electrocuted boy's mother desperately seeking witness

The mother a 6-year-old boy, who went into a coma after being electrocuted in a park in Nanjing, Jiangsu province, is looking for a woman who witnessed the incident last Wednesday.

According to the boy's mother, surnamed Zhang, she had taken her son for a walk to the park when he stepped on a light installed in the grass and fainted immediately.

The boy, who regained consciousness on Tuesday but is still unable to speak, is being treated at a local hospital's intensive care unit (ICU).

His mother said she needed to find the witness so that she can file for compensation from the company that installed the lights.
