Woman ends life after lover asks for abortion

A 21-year-old pregnant woman committed suicide by jumping from a bridge into a river in Shenyang, Liaoning province, after her boyfriend refused to accept responsibility for the child last Tuesday.

After police divers recovered her body from the river, one of the relatives of the deceased said the woman was very upset since her boyfriend asked her to terminate the pregnancy.
