Scrap collector donates 20 yuan for flood victims

An old woman who earns her bread gleaning and collecting scrap donated her four days' salary to victims of the flood in Taiwan.

Yuan Guoru, 65, a resident of Pengshan county, Sichuan province, gave 20 yuan ($2.9) to officials of the Red Cross Society, collecting charity for the disaster-hit people of Taiwan.

Till now, Sichuan residents have donated a little over 50,500 yuan for Taiwan.
