Two brothers get death for killing own wives

A court in Yunnan province sentenced two brothers to death after they were found guilty of killing their respective wives within a span of three months.

Hong Meizhang and his younger brother Hong Linzhang, both farmers in Daqiao village in Huize county, Yunnan province, claimed they had sour relations with their wives.

On March 9, 2008, Hong Meizhang quarreled with his wife, following which he killed her.

Then on June 8, 2008, Hong Linzhang, too, killed his wife after an argument.
