Macao's flu A/H1N1 cases climb to 317

MACAO:Macao reported 17 newly confirmed cases of Influenza A/H1N1 on Wednesday, bringing the cumulative number of such cases to 317 so far.

The newly confirmed cases concerned nine female patients and eight male patients, whose ages range from 3 to 49, said Macao's Health Bureau.

One of the patients was a pregnant woman. A college student, who has been to southwest China's Guangxi region, was also found to be sick after returning to Macao.

According to the statistics from the Bureau, some 11 patients who tested positive for the A/H1N1 flu virus are still receiving medical treatment, but their health conditions remain stable.
