Shocking X-ray: 12 sewing needles inside man

Doctors recently found 12 sewing needles inside the body of a 34-year-old man in Nanyang, Henan province.

Doctors believe the needles have remained in Liu Qingjian's body ever since he was a baby.

Liu, a construction worker, was raised by his grandmother. He confirmed she was fond of knitting.

Doctors said it would not be easy to remove all the needles from Liu's body because of the period of time they have remained inside him.
