Phone pals for 4 years, now husband and wife

A man in Zhengzhou, capital of Henan province, spoke on the phone with his lover for a period of four years before managing to win her heart.

Last Thursday, the two tied the knot. At the ceremony, the bridegroom first shocked the guests when he made the revelation during a speech, and then shocked them further by holding up a 70-m-long phone bill.

The groom and his bride met via a radio program in 2005, which is when they started talking on the phone.

They had never met face to face till the woman agreed to marry him.
