Chinese hairdresser Huang Xin carries a replica of the Tian'anmen Gate past animal heads, all that he made from human hair, at his barbershop in Beijing August 3, 2009. Huang used 11kg (24 lbs) of hair cut from his customers over a five month period to create the Tian'anmen Gate replica. Huang started making reproductions from human hair in early 2008, including the National Stadium (also known as the Bird's Nest), the National Aquatics Centre (also known as the Water Cube), two Olympic torches and the Olympic rings.
