Student gives 20,000 ml of her blood in 11 years

A postgraduate student at a university in Shanghai has donated 20,000 ml of blood since 1998.

It all started when Yang Ling read a story about children suffering from leukemia and decided to do something to make a difference. Since then, she has donated blood every month.

Moved by Yang, her husband Wang Keren, who is in her research group at the university, has also started donating blood regularly.
