Woman, 102, has kept diary since middle school

A 102-year-old woman in Chengdu, Sichuan province, has maintained a personal diary since her middle school days.

Li Wanqing's diary, which she has updated, and continues to update, every single day is her own record of education and development in China, especially Chengdu, over almost a century.

"Reading the daily newspapers and writing in her diary every night before sleeping has been her habit ever since I've known her," said Li's youngest daughter, a grandma on her own.
