Wife wants to sue hubby for denying her a child

A woman in Wuhan, Hubei province, is considering dragging her husband to court for depriving her of the right to have a child.

Ding Xiang, 30, married her husband Wang Zhong, who is eight years older, last May.

Wang, who has a 10-year-old son with his former wife, has refused to have another child with Ding, even though she has promised to continue caring for his first child.

When Ding got pregnant this May, Wang secretly asked doctors to give her medicine that would terminate the pregnancy.

The local legal aid center is mediating the case, and trying for an out of court settlement.
