Prodigy twins spurn college exam, enrolled

Without even sitting for the national college entrance exams, a pair of twin brothers from Jiangxi province has received letters of admission to the prestigious Tsinghua University in Beijing.

It's no mistake. Zhang Dafeng and Zhang Xiaofeng, both 17, are geniuses any college would love to groom.

Residents of Fuzhou's Linchuan district in Luozheng town, the twins have been in the same class since primary school, topping grades year after year.

Their high school tuition fee was remitted to their mother Chen Liqin as the school said it felt honored to educate her sons.

Two people in Beijing have come forward to finance the twins' education at Tsinghua University.
