Farmer passes national exams but two sons fail

A middle age man in Changsha, capital of Hunan province, got passing marks in the national college entrance examinations last month but his two sons failed.

Xiao Heqing, 43, said he would like to study biology at a university.

The farmer, who used to be employed outside his hometown, returned to prepare for the examinations just two months earlier.

In addition to realizing his dream of becoming a university student, Xiao wants his sons to study harder.

Xiao and his two sons are popular among locals.
