Large board crashes through man's head

A large 2 cm thick piece of lumber flew off a truck and landed on a man's head and got stuck around his neck. His head made a hole in the wood that rested around his neck.

He was walking along a street in Changchun, Jilin province, on Saturday when the board fell on his head.

Witnesses called firefighters who rescued him by cutting off the board and rushed him to a hospital where he was treated.
