Driver drinks 3 bottles of water to conceal alcohol

A drunk driver from Shaoxing, Zhejiang province, tried in vain to fool police by drinking three bottles of water to cover up the alcohol in his blood and on his breath.

Yu drank in Haining, Zhejiang, before he drove to Shaoxing on June 5.

He drove until he got to the suburbs of Shanghai when his car started moving like an S on the expressway.

After police pulled him over, Yu refused to get out and kept drinking water. He was arrested after he opened the door to urinate.

Police found high levels of alcohol in his blood, imposed a fine on him and temporarily seized his driving license.
