Woman tries to notarize SMS from hubby's lover

A notary office in Jiangsu province turned down a woman who tried to notarize text messages sent to her husband by his mistress.

Li, a resident of Jingjiang, found out that her hubby had an affair by checking his messages several days ago.

She took the phone to the office in order to get proof he was having an affair. Since it wasn't her phone, the workers turned her down.

In addition, notarizing such messages is a violation of the man's privacy and his right to free communication, the office said.
