Traffic collision kills seven in NW China

YINCHUAN - A traffic collision killed seven people, including three children, in northwest China's Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region Tuesday, local authorities said.

The accident took place on a road in Yanchi County at about 6 am when a car collided head-on with a coal-loaded truck, a spokesman with the county government said.

Seven people aboard the car died instantly. Two people from the truck suffered slight injuries and being questioned by police, the spokesman said.

Police are investigating the cause of the accident.
