Rock-climbing wall collapses in E China, 5 killed

JINAN -- Five people were killed and another five were injured after a rock-climbing wall collapsed at an outward development training center in east China's Shandong Province Sunday, local police said.

Rock-climbing wall collapses in E China, 5 killed Pilot killed in Russian training plane crash: official

The collapse took place at about 4:27 p.m. at the privately-run training center in the Yellow River Forest Park in Jinan, capital of Shandong Province, when 20 students and teachers from the Jinan Hanlin Continuing Education Center were having a training session, police said.

Three were killed on the spot and two others died en route to hospital, police said.

The cause of the accident is being investigated.
