Company takes fire for recruiting only Lius

A company that gives preference to applicants named Liu is being criticized for discriminating against others in Dongguan, Guangdong province.

The investment company explained it is a family company and that the boss, surnamed Liu, prefers to recruit more Lius.

It is believed that all those surnamed Liu are descendants of the Liu family going back 500 years.
