Girl, 16, tries to use sheets to slide down six stories

Police in Changchun, Jilin province, stopped a 16-year-old girl who was trying to use bed sheets to slide out of her sixth-storey apartment.

After a neighbor surnamed Zhang saw the sheets, she felt the girl wanted to commit suicide and called police.

Later, her mother told the police that she locked the girl inside her bedroom to stop her from staying out all night with others.
