Thief returns victim's wallet, ID but keeps cash

A thief with a conscience mailed a wallet and other property to a student he robbed in Jiangsu province.

Gu Binglin, a sophomore at Yangzhou University, lost his identification, banking and telephone cards, and more than 100 yuan in cash.

Two days later, Gu received a parcel from an overnight shipping company, which contained his wallet and cards.

The thief also included a note. "I have earned less than 100 yuan after sending you the parcel," he wrote.
