Man steals 2,000 kg of apples for girlfriend

An elderly man in Heyang county, Shaanxi province, was recently arrested for stealing 2,000 kg of apples for his girlfriend last year.

The woman, surnamed Wang, asked Mu, 70, a farmer for some apples and Mu went to an orchard near his village with another man surnamed Li.

They took the apples from the orchard owner, locked him in a room, and left with his mobile phone.
