Hotel worker jailed 5 days for ignoring help pleas

A female hotel worker got five days in jail and a 500 yuan fine after she ignored a woman's cries for help to fight off three rapists.

The worker failed to help when the university student rushed out of her room in just her underpants and told her she was being attacked.

The hotel worker in Huangshi, Hubei province, declined to help after the three men who chased her claimed she was a prostitute.
