100 people guard runaway girl sleeping on sidewalk

A runaway 19-year-old girl in Chongqing municipality was watched over by 100 policemen and residents after she slept on a street overnight.

The girl's mother said later that her daughter suffers from depression and left home that morning. The girl was seen lying on the sidewalk by a man surnamed Li and then again later that night.

He called the police and the girl refused to answer any questions. The police and other people watched over her until her parents showed up.
