Lightning exposes Peeping Tom neighbor

A 43-year-old Chengdu man was arrested after he was caught spying on his female neighbor.

The man surnamed Li has had a secret crush on the woman for years and often watched her.

One night, after he went drinking, Li sneaked into the woman's backyard, hid behind a tree and watched her watching TV.

However, she saw him and called police after some bright lightning struck.

He was sentenced to one year in prison because he confessed he wanted to sexually attack the woman.
