Girl dials police hotline 700 times in one month

A police hotline in Weng'an county, Guizhou province, logged 700 calls during a one-month period from the same person: a 7-year-old girl.

The girl thought it was fun to dial 110 and hear police talk. Police disagreed.

According to police, the calls came from a mobile phone and the caller only uttered a few soft words.

The girl's parents were away at work and she lives with her grandparents. She used her father's mobile phone and dialed the number several times a day until police realized where the calls came from.
