Divorce over dad's absence from delivery room

A woman in Chongqing municipality is seeking a divorce because her husband refused to visit the hospital when she delivered her baby.

The woman surnamed Zhu, 26, got married in July 2007 but she feels abandoned.

"I do not know why he changed his attitude so much towards me after I gave birth and I do not think we have any feeling to live together any more," Zhu said.

After a hearing, the court realized both wanted to divorce as they had agreed to a custody arrangement. The divorce was approved.
