Remains of Chinese businessman killed sent back home

DONGHAI, Jiangsu Province  -- The remains of Chinese businessman Yang Huailong who was killed by robbers in Madagascar were sent back to his home in east China's Jiangsu Province on Saturday.

Nearly 200 of Yang's countrymen braved downpour to mourn the businessman, before his remains were sent for cremation.

Yang, who was in the gem business in Madagascar, was shot dead by robbers on the way to a business lecture on March 14. His money and belongings were stolen.

Yang's relatives demanded the Madagascar government crack down crimes and protect the safety of the Chinese doing business in the country.
