Father wants daughter to live in intellectual home

A father who wants his daughter to live with new parents so she could get a better education has sparked controversy on the Internet among people in Changning, Hunan province.

Peng Yonglin, a sports teacher at a primary school, said he wants his only daughter, who is 9 years old, to live in a more intellectual home so that she can receive a better education.

Peng said her daughter, now in grade two at primary school, is clever but he's not able to teach her anymore due to his own limited education.

Peng said his daughter and wife have agreed to this.
